Lets talk Hors d'Oeuvres!

If you’ve poked around our website a bit, I’m sure you noticed our Hors d’Oeuvres menu, and how many options are on it. We love hors d’ oeuvres because they give us the chance to be fun and creative! One of my favorite parts of this career is being able to help a client create the menu of their dreams!

One question that we get asked a lot is, “how many hors d’oeuvres do I need?”

There’s a few answers to that question.

For a cocktail hour, we recommend choosing 3-4 different options.

If you’d like to do heavy hors d’oeuvres for your “dinner service”, we recommend choosing 9-11 different options. This gives a good variety of things for people to choose from, while making sure no one goes home hungry! Remember, this doesn’t have to just be buffet style! You can do stations, “build your own” is always poplar, and of course there’s the option to butler pass too!
